Driving the performance of the business forward! Partner across all areas of hte business: Commercial, Credit Risk, Operations, Treasury and Business Development. As a team we link the all these elements into a coherent story and business plan to then help the organisation deliver these plans. We drive the performance through a series of weekly and monthly forecasts as well as the annual budgeting exercise. In this role you will be contributing across three main areas: Help consolidate, analyse and provide valuable insight around the forecasts/budget of the different segments of the business to tell the story with a focus on the "so what". This will keep the business teams focused on delivering the plan, course correcting where necessaryDeliver insight from our wealth of data, distilling down to key messages and metricsHelp the business deliver on its marketing plans by partnering directly with the marketing teams. Collaborate and co-ordinate across the Finance Business Partners to consolidate the different segments of the monthly forecast/budget into a comprehensive presentation including impacts on Treasury (Funding and Cash), P&Ls, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow. You will need to build in improvements and customisations as necessary and provide valuable insight that will help guide management to the relevant "call to action"Run the weekly intramonth forecasting process which provides a view of where we think the month will end from a P&L and key metric perspectiveFurther develop our Management Information. This will be both through creating new insight from our data (e.g. working with the Business Information and Reporting teams) and refining how we show existing informationOur team is often the first in the wider Finance team to understand emerging issues/trends. Help disseminate this knowledge and ensure that the way we're showing things won't cause problems for our Reporting teams.Partner with the Marketing teams to help them budget their spend and then monitor their performance against that plan as well as developing key Marketing analytics to link up the performance across the business Profile Associate, Commercial Finance, Analytics and Marketing City of London location - very impressive offices - 3x days a week in office Banking & Financial Services - FinTech Payments
MUST HAVE: Professional accounting qualificationAbility to generate commercial insight from raw data and present to senior managementStrong Excel and Powerpoint skills (at manipulation / handle large volume data level)Good communication and presentation skillsAmbitious and eager to be involved in an exciting and fast moving organisationExperience in a data analysis/FP&A role
